The Wrath of Zagan (To Change)

The Barbarian is a warrior on the trail of their nemesis, the warlock Zagan. Zagan’s cult has kidnapped the heir to the kingdom of Acheronia, and is planning to sacrifice them to their dark god. Whoever brings back the heir will be granted a vast reward, and possibly even their hand in marriage.

After an initial skirmish with a few of the cultists, Zagan curses the Barbarian, starting a gradual transformation into an Ophidian - a serpent-person! Can the Barbarian slay their archenemy, rescue the royal, and restore their humanity?

"The Wrath of Zagan" is an adventure for the rules-light To Change system. It's intended as a one-shot adventure for a single loincloth-clad barbarian hero, but can be adapted for a group with minimal effort. It was written as a submission for the 2023 Transformation TTRPG Jam.
