In His Castle on the Hill (Dungeon World)

Enough is enough. From his palace overlooking the town Lord Harn, the wicked ruler of the land, sends his men to rob the peasantry blind. Visiting "dignitaries" (if that's what they are) drink and feast while the poor languish. And worse, rumor has it that he serves a monstrous occult god.

Tonight, he dies.

In His Castle on the Hill: Or, “Tonight, Lord Harn Dies!” is a dark fantasy-themed dungeon starter for the rules-light Dungeon World roleplaying game. It's intended as a jumping-off point for starting your very own tabletop RPG campaign!

In His Castle on the Hill contains:

• Questions for your players to give them a stake in the campaign and help your table build a bespoke setting
• Impressions to keep your players on their toes as they explore Castle Harn
• New monsters: Raving cultists in red robes, a brutish monster from an unknown plane of existence, and the ghost of Lady Harn
• New items: A tome of eldritch lore, a rod to control otherworldly entities, Lady Harn's treasured keepsake, and an imp in a bottle who's not having a fun time
• New move: The Digré Ritual, for those who would unite otherworldly and mortal flesh
